About Analisa

Like many of my clients, I have led a life of unexpected twists and turns, healing and growth. I believe that this gives me particular compassion for how difficult it can be to integrate changes in life, but also how necessary change can be. Sometimes life asks a lot of us, and I believe therapy is a place for clients to explore and discover what is needed next in their lives and in themselves.

I have a great love of learning about other cultures and this tends to inform how I view things as a person and a therapist. I also love permaculture garden design, ecology, poetry, making stained glass windows, painting and dance.

My Counseling Education: Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology; Level 2 EMDR Practitioner (Eye Movement and Desentization Reprocessing);  Level 1 AEDP Practitioner (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy).

I also have a Master's in Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Poetry).
